    Thank you very much for the instructive video about microphonic tubes. Prior to seeing it, I had heard the term but did not understand exactly what it meant. I am just getting into tube amps and I appreciate all the education I can get. Now I know what a microphonic tube is and, more importantly, what one sounds like. This is a very important thing if I ever have to troubleshoot the problem.

    I also took careful note of the use of a non-conductive tool for poking the offending tube!
